Meet Jason Fleming, CHRE, Strategic Advisor, HR Consulting Services - Top 25 HR Professional In Canada Award Winner

Jason is an accomplished Canadian HR executive with over a decade of HR experience. He recently served as MedReleaf’s Vice President of Human Resources, where he managed the growth of the organization, from a staff of 50 to 350, and served as executive sponsor for the $3.2B corporate acquisition. Jason regularly provides thought leadership about HR issues and has written extensively on HR innovation, managing marijuana in the workplace and other HR matters.

Prior to his time in the cannabis sector, Jason was the Director of Human Resources with the Seaboard Transport Group. He holds a BA from the University of Guelph, a Post-Graduate Certificate in HR Management and a Certificate in HR Law. Jason is one of the select few people to hold the CHRE designation,  Certified Human Resources Executive, with the Ontario Human Resources Professional Association. He has been recognized as one of the top 25 HR professionals in Canada by the Canadian HR Reporter and was a finalist for the 2018 KPMG HR Leader of the year award. In 2019, Jason was also named as a founding member of the Cannabis HR Network.
